Why we have a PTFA
We are very fortunate at school to have had a PTFA for many years. It has raised thousands of pounds which has been spent on improving equipment and resources to enhance our children’s education and the facilities of the school in general. For example school trips and the new P.A system.
The PTFA is about more than just fundraising. It exists to provide links between home and school, and is an excellent way to bring staff, parents and friends together in support of the local school, working towards a common goal.
All parents and members of the community can get involved if they want to, even if they only have a small amount of time available.
Not all of our events are fundraisers. For example, our end of year children’s discos are run with the aim of giving the children a good time.
