All pupils have a morning break. Pupils are asked to arrive at school for 8.40am ready to start the morning session. All members of staff are on duty for 10 minutes before and after school. We are not legally responsible for your children before or after then unless they are attending a club. All pupils are registered on arrival in the morning and afternoon. Please make sure your child arrives at school on time. This is very important as good habits need to be established early and we all want children to start the day well.

School Closure due to Overnight Snow:
If the school has to be closed because of heavy overnight snowfall, we will notify families via ParentMail and Class Dojo as the earliest convenience.
If you are unsure whether the school is open, please check ParentMail or Class Dojo, as there may not be staff on site to answer telephone enquiries.
If the school needs to remain closed on subsequent days, updates will continue to be communicated through ParentMail and Class Dojo.
If there is no mention of a continued closure, you can assume that school will be open as normal.
Heavy Snowfall During the School Day:
If it begins to snow heavily during the day, you may decide that you wish to collect your child early. Children may only leave early if collected by their own parent or carer. If there is a need to be collected or by another adult for whom you have given permission (e.g. grandparents or a friend’s parent), you must contact school first so that we are aware of the arrangement first.
If you are delayed due to adverse weather conditions, please be assured that your child will remain supervised until they are collected.
There is no need to telephone the school to ask whether children may go home early.
Please use your own judgement and if you feel you need to collect your child due to your personal circumstances, we will fully support this. In this situation, please come to the main office.
