Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens that contribute to a modern British Society and in an expanding technological age. We are an inclusive community where strong relationships help to develop an ethos of friendship, teamwork and responsibility with pride and respect in all that we do.
Our values are reflected in the high expectations we have for our pupils and by ensuring that their school experience is driven by a sense of discovery and aspiration.

The Renishaw Way Award - A student who embodies all of the above plus the extra ind=gredient making them the Renishaw Way winners.
At the end of each academic year, 6 children will be nominated from each year group for each of the 6 categories making up 54 winners across the school in tioalt from Nursery to Year 6.
All staff connected with each year group will be involved in the selection process with member sof the SLT choosing the overall category winners whch will trhen go forward to the "Eckington Community Awards Evening" held each year in July.
All 54 winners will be recognised at the end of year assembly held in the last week of the term where their parents will be invited to attend the ceremony and winners.
All schools in the Eckington Secondary School will are part of this annual awards event with the 5 Rs running across all of the schools.
The six overall winners from July 2025
