We will be creating non – chronological reports based on our knowledge of volcanoes and writing recounts based on the experiences of those who live through these events.

Hook day

On the first day back after the half term, we learnt all about volcanoes including their parts, how they are formed and what happens when they erupt. The children then worked in groups to create their own volcano, which we will be erupting at the end of the half term.
